On Tuesday, the Union Cabinet has provided its post-facto approval for Varishtha Pension Bima Yojana 2017 (VPBY 2017) as a part of financial inclusion and social security program.
The Union Cabinet has approved a new scheme for promotion of rural housing across the country. Under the scheme, the government will provide interest subsidy. According to the scheme, the every rural household will get interest subsidy who is not covered under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin).
