West Bengal E-Payment Portal Online Registration – Property Tax Payment
West Bengal E-Payment Portal: Finally, the state government of West Bengal has launched West Bengal E-Payment Portal for e-payment of tax. This is a new digital tax payment system which is introduced by the State Minister of Urban Development on 11 January 2018.

However, the state government has started this e-payment for tax payment. Where all the taxpayers can use digital mode of tax payment. It will be an easiest for the tax payment of properties. This digital payment system is specially launched for property tax only.

E-Payment for Property Tax: This e-payment system has specially introduced for digital payment of property tax. Through this e-payment system, the taxpayers can pay the tax for properties through the digital mode of payment.
Process: This e-payment system started in 10 municipalities of West Bengal. This system will also cover 125 municipalities in the state. This plan will implement in different phases.
Web Application: For the implementation of this e-payment system, the government has started a web application E-Payment System. This portal will make an easy process for property tax payment.
Implementation Area: This e-payment system will implement in Barrackpore, Kalyani, Panihati, Uttarpara and Kotrung.

How to Make West Bengal E-Payment Portal Online Registration
- First of all, all the property taxpayers will have to make online registration for e-payment of property tax.
- After that, the users need to find their localities/districts/city. Than users required to provide some more information to find their land details on the site.
- Finally, After the completion of registration process, the users will able to pay tax. After that, the user will receive a payment receipts, details and other related documents details on his/her registered e-mail ID or phone number.
This is an intimate step to make Digital India. The state government is also willing to implement digital payment system with other services.
