Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana Gramin – The state government will provide the roof to the homeless people due to any disaster and economic shortage in rural areas. The government has implemented the UP Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana Gramin. For its implementation, orders have been issued to the district administration to identify the real beneficiaries.
Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana Gramin
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin is being run by the Central Government from 2016-17. It has been made available to only those people who are homeless according to the social, economic and caste census-2011 data. Because of this, many families are still unprincipled and shelterless. How many families are still forced to live in shabby houses In view of this, the state government has decided to implement the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana for the villagers.
1.20 Lakh for the Houses Under Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana Gramin
The State Government will provide financial assistance of Rs 1.20 lakh for constructing houses in 25 square meters of land for the beneficiaries. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the account of the eligible beneficiaries in three installments. 40 thousand rupees in the first installment to get the work started. The second installment will be 70 thousand and the third installment 10 thousand rupees will be provided.
Besides, 90 days wage will also be given to the beneficiary under MNREGA. It would be necessary to have a room and a kitchen in the house. While the toilets will be built under the Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan.
Housing Approval will be Given at the Open Meeting of the Gram Sabha
After the scrutiny of the list prepared on the primary level, the Tribal Committee will be formed on the district level. After that, beneficiaries will be approved in the open meeting of the Gram Sabha. In this work, the officers have been instructed to take full transparency. The house will be allotted for both husband and wife. In the event of not having a wife, only the names of the men will be allotted.
Benefits of Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana Gramin
Families seeking shelter, bereaved, beggar families, handmade families, primitive tribal groups, and legally released brothers will be included in this scheme under priority.
Any type of vehicle owner, farmer with more than fifty thousand or more credit card limit, having irrigated land more than 2.5 acres of land, using any type of tax payer or landline phone will not be given the benefit of this scheme.
DM Krishna Karunesh said that after the orders issued by the government, the concerned officers are being directed to comply with this. The scheme will be implemented under full transparency.
