Uttar Pradesh Intensive Integrated Crop Scheme – The Uttar Pradesh Government is going to launch the Intensive Integrated Crop Scheme (सघन एकीकृत फसल योजना) for making big profits to small farmers of the capital. For this purpose, the district administration has planned to bring together 6 departments such as Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Park, National Rural Livelihood Mission, along with agriculture.

This scheme will increase the income of farmers by cultivating conventional farming to modern and commercial farming. Soon, one or two-hectare landholders will be trained about farmers’ model of integrated farming. The process of selection of entrepreneur farmers has started.
Most farmers of Lucknow cultivate wheat, paddy, and seasonal vegetables to avoid the risk of crop degradation. But in the current perspective, agricultural experts are busy exploring the methods of farming. In integrated agriculture, the product or co-product of an enterprise is used as raw material in the second enterprise and by recycling waste, rich fertilizers are made from nutrients.
CDO Manish Bansal said that agriculture, animal husbandry, garden, land conservation, fisheries, National Rural Livelihood Mission will together choose entrepreneurial farmers. Small and marginal farmers will get the benefit of the schemes of these departments along with traditional farming like paddy, wheat and methods of industrial farming will be suggested. Only those farmers who are willing to invest in the scheme will be involved. The selection of such farmers has been started on blockwise.
Farming Will Increase Income Under Uttar Pradesh Intensive Integrated Crop Scheme
Farmers will be encouraged for goat, poultry farming. Because it does not need much ground. Apart from this, the ram of the farm or pond can be used to plant fruit trees such as lemon and guava. Vegetables on bell, such as cucumbers, cucumber can also be grown on the rug or fence mounted around the farm.
The pond can be used for fishery and duck, which can stay together. Farmers will be motivated to cultivate earthworms. These earthworms will be used to make organic manure. This will increase the fertility of the land. Farmers’ crops and enterprises will be insured by the lead bank.
Uttar Pradesh Intensive Integrated Crop Scheme – Selection of Entrepreneurial Farmers Start
CDO Manish Bansal said that in the first phase, six departments would work together for Intensive Integrated Crop Scheme. Selection of entrepreneurial farmers has started. 15 farmers have been selected from Kakori, Mall, Chinahat blocks. Soon work will be organized by organizing a workshop in all Vikas Bhavan.
