Rythu Bandhu Scheme Telangana – Farmers’ Investment Support Scheme
Telangana Government is going to launch Rythu Bandhu Scheme for farmers in the state. It is also known as Farmers’ Investment Support Scheme (FISS). This is a welfare scheme which is especially launching for farmers. In this scheme, the state government will provide financial support to the farmers for two crops a year Rabi and Kharif.
What is Rythu Bandhu Scheme
The Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will launch this scheme at Huzurabad in Karimnagar District on 10th May 2018. However, the scheme was announced in February 2018 but finally, it is going to launch on 0th May 2018. The state government has allocated a budget of ₹12,000 crores.
Benefits of Rythu Bandhu Scheme
Under this scheme, the state government will provide a financial help of Rs. 4000 per acre per season to support the farm investment under Rythu Bandhu Scheme. According to the scheme, this financial help will be provided twice a year for rabi and kharif seasons. According to the detail, about 97% of farmers have less than 10 acres per person and the total farming land is 1.42 crore acres and the number of farmers is 71.75 lakh in the state.
How to Get Rythu Bandhu Scheme Cheque
The state government will provide Rs. 4000 per acre twice a year for rabi and kharif seasons. The farmers will receive total Rs. 8000 amount through a bank bearer cheque by a newly set up corporation (Rythu Samanvaya Samiti). The Agriculture Extension Officers (AEOs) will distribute cheques at the village level.
Rythu Bandhu Scheme New Pattadar Passbook
Besides, the government will also provide New Pattadar Passport along with the cheque. The benefit will be provided after checking land records. However, the new passbook will be highly secure with 17 tamper-proof security features. All the land details are available at land bank website, Dharani.
Rythu Bandhu Scheme Monitoring Process
In order to make successful this scheme, the NIC has developed a special dashboard software to monitor the scheme remotely. Besides, the state government will also start an official website.
