UDAAN
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) launched a project ‘UDAAN’. CBSE has launched this program under the guidance of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), to address the low enrollment of girl students in prestigious engineering institutions and the teaching gap between school education & engineering entrance examination.
On Friday, the Union Minister Jayant Sinha said that under the Central Government’s ambitious initiative UDAN Scheme, the government is preparing for constructing additional 100 airports over the next 2-3 years.
On Thursday, the Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched India’s first UDAN flight which provides affordable regional air travel to citizens. UDAN Scheme (Ude Desh Ka Nagrik) is the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) of the Ministry of Aviation, Government of India.
