Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Delhi: Good news for the residents of Delhi under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) in Delhi, the way of making houses for the urban poor has now become clear. Now the construction of houses for urban poor in Delhi will be done by DDA and Delhi State Urban Housing Shelter Board.
The Jammu & Kashmir government has targeted 1,21,671 families to provide housing under center’s ambitious scheme ‘Housing for All (HFA-PMAY)’ in the first phase.
With the aim of providing affordable housing for all, the Berhampur Municipal Corporation has issued work orders to 433 of the poor in the city for construction of houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).
The Municipal Corporation of Indore has decided to provide 68,126 pucca houses for urban poor by 2022 under the Centre’s most ambitious “Housing for All” Scheme. The IMC commissioner Manish Singh said that the corporation is going to hold the project in four phases. In the first two phases, the civic body will rehabilitate 2,944 households from 50 slum colonies in the city by the end of 2018 and corporation will construct 20,182 low-cost housing units and shift 101 tenable and 84 untenable slums.
The Central Government of India has given approval for the construction of other 52,319 affordable housing units for the poor urban people of the various states Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland, Pondicherry, Daman and Chattisgarh. It also includes 11,286 housing units in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh, under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).
Now needy people can apply online for affordable housing under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) Urban from Today. The government’s aim is to include more people into the realm of the important programs.
