Solar Charkha Mission – The Indian President Ram Nath Kovind is going to launch Solar Charkha Yojana Mission for women. The scheme will be launched on 27 June 2018. The will launch this scheme especially for women across the country. In this scheme, the government will provide an entail subsidy of Rs 550 crore in the initial two years for 50 clusters.
Solar Charkha Mission Benefits
The main target of Solar Charkha Mission is to link five crore women across the country. Under this scheme, the government will create one lakh jobs during the first two years. In order to launch this scheme, the government has approved a subsidy of Rs 550 crore for 50 clusters.
According to the plan, about 400 to 2,000 artisans in every cluster and government will make an investment of Rs 10,000 crore through subsidy as well as the credit component in the Pradhan Mantri Rozgar Srijan Yojana in the current financial year in micro-enterprises’ sector.
Details of Solar Charkha Mission
According to the detail, of this 1.14 lakh crore enterprise registered under GST. About 7 lakh are large enterprises while 1.07 crore MSMEs are registered. The government is expecting that this scheme will help to generate jobs for the women. The target is to generate one lakh jobs during the first two years through Solar Charkha Yojana Mission.
