Shadi Shagun Yojana for Muslim Community Girls

Shadi Shagun Yojana – The Central Government has decided to launch a new welfare scheme under the name of Shadi Shagun Yojana for Muslim comunity girls. Under this scheme, the government will provide a financial assistance of Rs. 51000/- to the muslim girl for their marriage. According to the scheme, only graduate muslim girls will be eligible for this scheme.

Objective of Shadi Shagun Yojana

The government will launch this scheme with an objective to provide financial to the muslim comunity girls. Only those girls will be benefited from this scheme who has completed their gradution level education. Under this scheme, this financial help will be provide to the girls marriage. The government is expecting that this scheme will create an great impact in the muslim comunity. It will encourage the girl to complete their higher education. According to the scheme, all the muslim girls will be covered from this scheme across the country.

Highlights of the Scheme

  • Only muslim comunity girls are eligible for this scheme.
  • Maulana Azad Educational Foundation is also developing an official website of this scheme where the people can get complete information about the scheme.
  • Only those girls will be eligible for this scheme who has complete their graduation and those gjirls are also eligible this scheme who has received MAEF scholarships.
  • The non-graduate girls are not eligible for this scheme.

The government has launched this scheme specially for muslim comunity girls because this comunity comes in minority category and they need improvement in the society. With the help of this scheme, the government wants to encourage the muslim girls parents to help them to complete their education at least graduation level.

Besides this, the government will also provide a gift of Rs 10,000/- to the Muslim girls who are studying in  9th and 10th class while those girls are studying in Classes XI and XII they will also get a scholarship of Rs 12,000/-.
