Samagra Shiksha Scheme – Integrated School Education Scheme
The Union Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) has launched Samagra Shiksha Scheme – Integrated School Education Scheme for school education from pre-school till Class 12. The HRD Minister Prakash Prakash Javadekar has launched this scheme on Thursday 24, 2018.
However, the scheme was approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs in the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The School Education and Literacy Department has created this scheme for a period of 01 April 2018 to 31 March 2020.
What is Samagra Shiksha Scheme
Samagra Shiksha Scheme is an education programme where the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development has increased the budget of the program up to 20%. With the help of this scheme, the focus on digital education.
Samagra Shiksha Scheme Objective
Samagra Shiksha Scheme is launched with an aim to improve the quality of education by using digital technology in schools. In this scheme, the government will increase the quality of education from the pre-school to class 12 level. It will include other elements of the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Rashtriya Madhyamika Shiksha Abhiyan.
Samagra Shiksha Scheme – Integrated School Education Scheme Benefits

- It will improve teachers education quality. The government will provide a grant of Rs 5,000 to Rs 20,000 per school for the strengthening of libraries in the schools.
