Under this scheme, the farmers will be assessed on the basis of the market value or support price of the produce kept by them, whichever is less and 70 percent of the amount of the amount will be made available in the form of living loans. He said that Rs 1.50 lakh for small and marginal farmers and loan upto Rs 3 lakh to big farmers will be given at the interest rate of 11 percent only.
2% interest subsidy on repayment of loan at prescribed time
In this scheme, the farmer will get a loan for a period of 90 days. In special circumstances, this limit will be up to 6 months. The farmers will get 2 percent interest subsidy on the time when they loan the loan. This will enable the farmer to get a loan at the rate of 9 percent interest and the farmer will be able to sell his produce in the market, and the immediate financial requirements will be met.
