Rajasthan BPL Women Free Mobile Distribution Scheme – The Rajasthan Government led by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has decided to provide free Mobile Phones to the women belonging to the BPL (Below Poverty Line) Category of the state. The state government has made this decision in order to promote PM Narendra Modi’s Digital India Campaign. The Free Mobile Phones will be distributed among the BPL Women under the Bhamashah Yojana. The state government wants to provide financial and non-financial benefits to the people of the state in a transparent way.
Rajasthan BPL Women Free Mobile Distribution Scheme
Rajasthan Government stated that poor people are trying to bring new mobile applications so that they can avail the benefits of government schemes by pressing the button of their mobile phones.
The state government has said that in the upcoming days, the state government will provide free WiFi facility in 5000 Gram Panchayats so that the villages can connect with the digital world. The government says that this program has started from September 1 and will conclude on September 30.
Abhay Command Center
It is not the first step of the government to make the public aware of technology. The State Government has started Bhamashah Wallet Mobile service on August 29 to promote digital payments. Earlier, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has started Abhay Command Center in Dausa, Sriganganagar, Baker, Bhilwara, Karauli and Dholpur.
The government has provided various facilities on these Abhay Command Centers such as dial 100, traffic system, video surveillance and cyber forensics. The term of the present assembly in Rajasthan is ending on 20th January 2019. Chief Minister is going to visit the state in order to tell the achievements of his government.
