Punjab Bike Taxis Scheme

Punjab Bike Taxis Scheme – Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal today launched the first set of 100 Uber Bike Taxis. The scheme has been started to create employment for the unemployed youth of the state.

In the election manifesto, Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh had approved the government’s proposal to launch the bike taxis in May under the government’s ‘Apni Gaddi Apna Rojzgaar’ program.

Earlier Amarinder was in the program to be present at Mohali. Initially, bike taxis will be run in Mohali, Ludhiana, Jirakpur and Kharar.

Badal said, “Like Uber Moto, bike partnership services will not only contribute to travel in the last part of the bikes and escape from the crowd in Punjab but will play an important role in creating thousands of entrepreneurship and economic opportunities for youth. ”
