Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana is a new initiative step launched by PM Narendra Modi for India’s young generation to make every Youth of this country employable and economically independent.
The main objective of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Yojana (PMKVY) is to encourage and enhance skill development of today’s unemployed people.

In PMKVY the word kaushal refers to the Skills hence to provide each youth of India courses and jobs relevant to industry, full training based on their skills respectively’
Also beneficiary people trained under PMKVY will be rewarded, assessed(job based) and certified Financially by the Government Of India .Under this scheme of Pm several courses will be run by the affiliated training providers based on selected skills.
Time Duration specified for Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Yojana –
PMKVY – under Government of India has been approved for another for years that means (2016-2020).
PMKVY aims to benefit over 10 million people upto that duration of time .
Allocated Budget and In-charge ship of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKAY)
Budget – The allocated budget of PMKVY is upto 12,000 crore as informed.
Incharge-ship – Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) will look forward on PMAKY scheme and certificate of this course will be provided under (RPL) Reorganization of Prior Learning while National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is the implementing agency for this scheme.

Recognition Of Prior Learning – Aligning the competencies of 40 lakhs from the indivisuals with NSQF.
Special Projects – Enabling a platform that will facilitate training in special areas and premises of Government bodies and Corporates.
Kaushal and Rojgar Mela – Organized every six month by training partner to ensure scheme reaches and success far and wide.
Placement Assistance – Linking the aptitude aspiration and knowledge of PMAKY candidates to potential employers.
Continuous Monitoring – Using technical driving Methodologies to ensure high standard quality maintained by training centers.
Standardised Branding and Communication – Ensuring great visibility and assurance of communication of scheme on base ground.

Objectives and Features of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana
The major objective of the scheme is to make people trained in various skills so that they can become employable and financially strong.
- Providing an average monetary reward of Rs. 8,000/- per candidates to the beneficiary who is undergoing skill training.
- The skill development scheme is also aimed to increase productivity of existing workforce and train & certify them according to industry needs.
- Provide Monetary Awards for Skill Certification to boost employ ability and productivity of youth by incentive’s them for skill training.
