PM Awas Yojana Uttar Pradesh – The Newly appointed Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Adityanath has disclosed the Uttar Pradesh State Government’s plan of providing an affordable housing unit to the homeless people of the state.

He said that this target will be achieved under the Central Government’s Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).
CM Yogi said that about 48 lakh people in the rural areas of the state do not have houses to live. In order to solve this problem, the state government is trying to construct about 10 lakh affordable housing units within upcoming 12 months under the ambitious Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. According to the news, about 48 lakh people in rural state do not have houses. The Uttar Pradesh Government is aiming to construct about 10 lakh houses there under PM Awas Yojana this year.
The UP CM said that as many as 48 lakh people in the rural areas of Uttar Pradesh do not have houses to live. He added that to solve this problem the government is trying to build as many as 10 lakh houses within next 12 months under the PM Awas Yojana, news agency ANI reported. “48,00,000 people in rural UP do not have houses. We are aiming to build 10,00,000 houses there under PM Awas Yojana this year,” Yogi Adityanath was quoted as saying by ANI.
According to the CM Yogi Adityanath, the Central Government will ensure a large scale employment opportunities for the youth in Uttar Pradesh in the next five years through skill development.
