Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Rajyakarmi Cashless Chikitsa Yojana will Benefit 1 Crore People
Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Rajyakarmi Cashless Chikitsa Yojana – Uttar Pradesh Government has targeted to provide financial assistance under the ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Rajyakarmi Cashless Chikitsa Yojana’ for the cashless treatment of accidental and incurable diseases to nearly 1 crore dependent members of his family, including 17 lakh policemen.
This information was given by the State Medical and Health Minister Mr. Siddharth Nath Singh.
Details of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Rajyakarmi Cashless Chikitsa Yojana
He said that till date, two lakh families have already submitted applications under the cashless medical scheme. A target has been set to benefit 17 lakh families of the state under this scheme. State employees will be provided cashless treatment facilities of incurable diseases in CGHS contracted private hospitals, SPGI and KGMU located in National Capital Region (NCR).
Shri Singh informed that online registration has been arranged for the operation of this scheme. Government servants and pensioners can apply on the website. He informed that after the registration of the DDOs and the Chief Deputation Officers of all the departments of the State Government, the registration of the employees and the Panchesers has been made.
Registered Drawing Officers and Treasuries under the scheme will be able to register the State employees and pensioners. He told that before registration of the State employees, it is necessary that the Drawing Officer and the treasury officer of all the departments of the State Government should follow the guidelines given on their registration website. All the information and registration procedures required regarding the scheme have been made available on the website.
The Health Minister informed that the process for contracting CGHS contracted private hospitals under ‘Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya State Employees Cashless Medical Scheme’ is in progress. Procedure for contracting SPGI, KGMU and other such medical institutions with this scheme is also being done at an accelerated pace. He said that State Health Card will be available to all the employees after getting online registration for the benefit of this scheme, with the help of cashless medical facility after identification in contracted hospitals. Aadhaar number is mandatory for the benefit of the scheme.
