National SC/ST Hub – Facilitating SC/ST Entrepreneurs in MSME Sector
A lot of scheme has been launched by Prime Minister of India so far, now Mr Narendra Modi has launched the National SC/ST Hub along with one other scheme ZED (Zero Effect, Zero Defect) scheme for MSME sector. These scheme were launched by the former PM during an event which was held in Ludhiana on 18th of October. PM also distributed 500 traditional wooden charkhas (spinning wheels) among women.
What is National SC/ST Hub
National SC/ST Hub is a setup provided to facilitate things to people who came under SC(scheduled cast)/ST(Scheduled tribe) categories of India. This setup has been started to help this category to start their own micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) units. Initial budget outlay has been set by the government for this purpose for this scheme is of Rs. 490 Crores for the National SC/ST Hub.
- The Government is also providing loans to SC/ST men and women entrepreneurs up to Rs. 1 Crore to make them self dependent and employ the youth under National SC/ST hub scheme .
