Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana Madhya Pradesh
In order to promote education in Madhya Pradesh, the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan will launch Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana for higher education of the meritorious students of the state.
In Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana, the government will pay the government fee under MMVY. Besides, the state government has achieved the minimum 85 percent marks in class 12th and the state government will pay the fees for higher education in the financial year of 2017-18. For the proper implementation of the scheme, the state government has made a fund of Rs.1000 and has made a provision of 500 crores.
Under this scheme, the Madhya Pradesh Secondary Education Board will provide the full amount of the fee for admission in the Higher Education Institutions for those students who got minimum 85 percent in 12th class examination, and the admission in other educational institutions Rs. 1 Lakh will be provided in the form of financial assistance.
Students will have to fill a bond in front of state government for payment of fixed education fees in private medical colleges, that they will have to provide services in rural health centers after completing MBBS after three years.
Those students who got less than 85 percent marks in the 12th examination, they will be given an amount equal to the amount of the education fee at the national level in the form of interest-free loans.
