Mukhya Mantri Kanyadan Yojana: According to the latest news, in order to promote digital transaction and women empowerment in the state, Madhya Pradesh government will provide a cheque of Rs 3,000 each to buy a smartphone for each bride who is married under ‘Mukhya Mantri Kanyadan Yojana’.
An official of the Madhya Pradesh Public Relations Department said that according to the decision of the Council of Ministers, a girl will be given a check of Rs. 3,000 for buying a smartphone under Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s ambitious scheme ‘Mukhya Mantri Kanya Viva-Nikah Yojana’. Further, he said about 386,103 girls got married and 9,403 girls got nikah under this scheme.
Actually, this scheme was launched for poor, needy, destitute, poor families of marriageable girls and the government is giving financial assistance of Rs 25,000 for the mass marriage of abandonment state.
Of this, the assistance amount for the happiness of married life is Rs 17,000, which is given to the girl in the group marriage program by the account pay cheque on the girl’s name.
Apart from this, there is a provision to spend Rs. 5,000 for the necessary material to be given to the girl for marriage rituals and the expenditure of Rs. 3,000 to the rural and urban bodies for organizing a mass marriage program.
