Madhya Pradesh Seva Sutra Bus Service – The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi has launched the Urban Transport “Seva Sutra Bus Service” in Madhya Pradesh. Under this scheme, 700 buses will be operated in 20 cities. In the first phase, a total of 127 buses for Indore, 4 municipal corporations and 2 municipalities will be flagged off. In this, 42 MIDI buses running from Indore have been registered. Some of these buses have also reached Indore. RTO Jitendra Raghuvanshi said that currently 42 buses have been registered. Now they will also be issued permit according to the route.
700 Buses Will Run in The State Under Madhya Pradesh Seva Sutra Bus Service
Under this bus service, all the divisional headquarters of the state will be connected to Bhopal. In about 20 cities, 700 buses will be operated. These buses will be run with the private participation by the Urban Development and Housing Department. In this scheme, help from the AMRUT Scheme of the Government of India is being taken.
The department has issued tenders for 700 buses. In the cities having more than 10 lakh population, the Center has decided to contribute 33 percent, state 50 percent and 17 percent members of the corporation. At the same time, in cities with less than 10 lakh population, the center will contribute 50 percent, the state 40 percent, and the body 10 percent. These bus services will be started in 16 municipal corporations and 4 municipalities of the state.
Facilities Available in Buses
ITMS equipment such as GPS, PIS, PAS will be available. Besides this, the bus will have panic buttons, cameras for the security of the women. These buses will be connected to the Public Grievance System and the Head Control Command Center with the control command center built in the cities. Simultaneously, the facility of single ticket system website and mobile application is also being provided to the passengers.
