Kerala Pravasi Pension Scheme for Malayalees
Kerala Pravasi Pension Scheme – The State Government of Kerala led by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has launched the Kerala Pravasi Pension Scheme for the Malayalees living away from their home State. It was launched by the Kerala Pravasi Welfare Board by giving the first Pravasi Pension Card to a woman member. The scheme launching program was organized by the All India Malayalee Association (AIMA), Telangana unit.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan also gave over the key of the AIMA’s ambulance to one of the sponsors, Joby Mani. Besides this, CM also gave the Recognition Certificate of the NORKA-ROOTS to the President of AIMA-Telangana, TSC Prasad.
During the launching program, CM Vijayan said that the contribution of Pravasi Malayalees (non-resident Keralites) to the economic progress and overall development of Kerala was big. CM said that the state government always gave priority to the welfare of pravasis. Apart from this, CM also appealed to the Keralites in Telangana to work in unity for the implementation of all these welfare schemes.
The Kerala Tourism and Cooperation Minister Kadakampally Surendran also emphasize the importance being given by the state government for the welfare of Pravasi Malayalees. He also praised the AIMA for launching the welfare schemes in right earnest. Dr S Venugopalachary the Special Representative of Telangana Government in Delhi inaugurate the AIMA Ambulance. He also praised the service nature of Malayalees and assured all help from the Telangana government to the AIMA in its activities.
