Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Swasthya Beema Yojana – The newly appointed Hon’ble President of India Mr. Ram Nath Kovind is going to will launch various public schemes and projects worth Rs 2,300 crore in the state Jharkhand on the auspicious occasion of Jharkhand’s foundation day on November 15.

The State Government of Jharkhand led by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Raghubar Das will organize the statehood day celebrations organized at the Morhabadi Ground. President Kovind will be the chief guest there. 15 November which also marks the 17th foundation day of the state and the 142nd birth anniversary of revolutionary Birsa Munda.


At this program, President Kovind will launch various of schemes including Rs 1,500 crore Johar Yojana and Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme.


President will also launch the free 108 ambulance services scheme under which 329 life support system equipped ambulances will be provided free 24 Hour service throughout the state.

Apart from all this, President Kovid will also launch a medical insurance scheme for the people of the state named ‘Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Swasthya Bima Yojana’. Under the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Swasthya Bima Yojana, the state government will provide premium-free medical cover to 57 lakh households of the state whose annual incomes are less than Rs 72,000.

Under the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Swasthya Beema Yojana (MSBY), the Jharkhand Government will provide health insurance coverage to the needy and the eligible people of the state, especially to the families belonging to the (EWS) economically weaker section of the society.

The state government has made a provision of a total amount of Rs. 50,000 for secondary care and Rs. 2 lakh for special care, Rs. 30,000 for senior citizens of the additionally covered class under this scheme. Besides this, the state government will also provide health cards to the beneficiaries and the whole system would be cashless under this scheme.
