Jharkhand Gyanodaya Scheme – Free Tablet Scheme for Teachers
Jharkhand Gyanodaya Scheme – The Jharkhand Government has launched the Jharkhand Gyanodaya Scheme for schools teachers of the state. The main motto of the Gyanodaya Yojana is to provide tablets to the teachers of 40 thousand schools through out the state.
The Chief Minister of Jharkhand Mr. Raghubar Das has launched the Jharkhand Gyanodaya scheme on the auspicious occasion of the Teachers’ Association of Honor organized at the Panabhatta Stadium. Under this scheme, a tablet will be provided to teachers to carry out their work online anywhere at any time.
The main motto of this scheme is not only the real time monitoring of schools but it will also provide help to them in knowing online the learning outcomes of children. And by this scheme, online software, teachers, children’s attendance, drop out, mid- day meal etc. will be monitored online by the department of education, Jharkhand.
The NITI aayog has taken a decision for developing the School Education Quality Index for measuring the results of the schools across the country. This scheme will also help in measuring the performance of school management.
Many schemes are also being included to check the activity of schools like e-Vidyavahini, e-mid-day meals and teachers’ English training programs etc.

Besides this, recently, the Jharkhand Cabinet has approved the Jharkhand Gyanodaya Scheme with the cost of Rs. 63 crores and 60 Lakhs. These schemes will empower the teachers to become a good learner. The teachers will keep learning new things all the time and acquiring knowledge from different online sources via this tablet.
