Free Mobile Scheme for Women Entrepreneurs
Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has launched a new Free Mobile Phone Scheme scheme to provide free mobile to 1 Lakh women entrepreneurs of the state.
The state government will provide free mobile to boost Digital India Mission. On this occasion, Chief Minister also launched ‘Tejaswini’ scheme worth 600 crore. Besides this, government has also launched another major project ‘Johar Jharkhand’ of `1400 crore.

Chief Minister Das said that the State government would provide mobile phones to one lakh women entrepreneurs. The state government of Jharkhand has started this scheme to encourage the women entrepreneurs and to motivate them toward the digitalization.
The women who are working as an entrepreneur will be provided free mobiles. CM said that three lakh women have been given gas connections and ovens under Ujjawala scheme. In the next three to four years, all 23 lakh BPL families will be provided the gas connections.
Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that it will help in digitalization and ensure the success of cashless Jharkhand campaign. These women entrepreneurs are the backbone of our villages.
On the occasion, CM urged the women folks associated with different kinds of livelihood activities to keep moving ahead as the Constitution of India grants equivalent rights to both males and females. So the state government of Jharkhand will provide mobile phones soon under this free mobile scheme.
