Indian Railways Zero FIR Mobile App – ट्रेनों में सफर कर रहे यात्रियों के लिए जीरो एफआईआर सेवा शुरू की गयी है। इसके तहत यात्री रेलवे सुरक्षा बल (आरपीएफ), सरकारी रेलवे पुलिस (जीआरपी), टीटीई, ट्रेन कंडक्टरों द्वारा तुरंत जांच की जाने वाली जीरो एफआईआर के रूप में पंजीकृत होने के लिए नए एंड्रॉइड मोबाइल ऐप पर शिकायतें करने में सक्षम होंगे।
Indian Railways Zero FIR Mobile App
Passengers will soon be able to register a complaint while traveling in trains through a mobile app. It will be recorded as zero FIR and the RPF will investigate it immediately. This information has been given by a senior RPF official. The pilot project of lodging complaints of harassment, theft, crime against women, through mobile app, is going on in Madhya Pradesh and it will be implemented across the country soon.
There will also be a panic button for women in the app. Passengers can also make offline complaints on this app. According to RPF Director General Arun Kumar, Passengers will not have to wait till the next station to register a complaint. They will file a complaint through the mobile app and the RPF will reach them to assist them.
Currently, if any passenger wants to file a report or complaint, then he / she need to fill up a complaint form provided by the ticket examiner. After that, this form is submitted to railway protection force (RPF) or government railway police (GRP) at the next police station which automatically get converted to FIR.
Now, all the passengers will be able to fill Zero FIR would be filed which means that FIR can be filed in any police station (irrespective of place of incident / jurisdiction) and the same can be transferred to appropriate police station.
What is Zero FIR
Zero FIR means that FIR can be lodged in any police station and it will be later transferred to the appropriate police station. At present, if an incident occurs and the passenger wants to register his report then he has to fill up the complaint form provided by the ticket inspector, which is delivered to the RPF or GRP at the next station. This form is transformed into FIR. It is delayed and passengers can not get relief immediately. The app will not only be the RPF but also the TTE and the train carrier as well as the Government Railway Police (GRP).
