India launched South Asia Satellite GSAT-9
In order to promote communication and connectivity among SAARC countries, India launched South Asia Satellite GSAT-9 on Friday from Satish Dhawan Space Center, Sriharikota. ISRO has created this Geostationary Communication Satellite.
Following this success, six heads of SAARC countries shared the message through video conferencing simultaneously. On this occasion PM Modi said that from India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bhutan and Maldives will be benefited by GSAT-9. This will increase the strength of South Asia in space.
South Asia Satellite -9 is believed to be a gift to SAARC countries from India. It is also being seen as a space diploma of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Let Pakistan know that Pakistan is not a part of this project.
