How to Book Tickets Under UDAN Scheme
Today (April 27, 2017), Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched UDAN Scheme (Ude Desh Ka Nagrik Yojana) at Shimla.
UDAN Scheme will make air travel to and from smaller towns affordable. UDAN is a short form for “Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik” which means “Common Man Flies“. It was flagged off by PM Modi himself in Shimla.
PM Modi also flagged off first UDAN flight from Shimla to Delhi.
Air Travel Fair under UDAN Scheme
Under this scheme, the cost of flight per seat will be approximately to Rs 2500 for one hour flight. The approximate distance of such flights is estimated to be 500 kms.

- Airline Allied Services (Alliance Air).
- Turbo Megha Airways.
- Air Deccan.
- Air Odisha.
Per Flight Seating Capacity According to the Scheme
The seating capacity in each flight selected for UDAN scheme will range between 19 to 78 and even 50% of the total seats. The price for each seat will be capped to Rs 2500
