Haryana Zero Hunger Yojana – The State Government of Haryana led by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar prepared a project named Haryana Zero Hunger Yojana in the state. This scheme will be run by the ISKCON Food Relief Foundation in the state. The main motive of the state government behind this project if to provide food to every needy person at a cheaper rate. In the financial year, the proposal of the project has been sent to the State Government from the Foundation side.
Details of Haryana Zero Hunger Yojana
On approval of the project by Haryana State Government, stodge will be provided at affordable rates under the scheme. On receipt of the project approval under this Haryana Zero Hunger Yojana, Dalia, Khichdi, Chapati and Vegetable etc. will be provided in just Rs. 8 to 10 rupees. Through this foundation, in the present time, 2.5 million children of the state are provided mid-day meal per day.

The Foundation’s Vice Chairman Dhananjay Krishna Das, while giving a sermon on the scheme said, “His organization (Haryana) in Haryana has a project to start the Zero Hunger scheme.” Under this scheme, every hungry citizen of the state will be provided stodge in just Rs 8-10. To make food under this scheme, the institution has a mega kitchen. In which the institution can be made pure and vegetarian food.
The Vice Chairman of the Foundation apprised the senior IAS of the State Government about the plan and urged to start the counter for the scheme. In the mega kitchen, the scheme started in the organization, unique tourism, and some corporate houses and other dignitaries from Mega kitchen in Dhaulagarh were also inspected on Saturday.
