Haryana Shramik Panjikaran Abhiyan For Labour Registration
Haryana Shramik Panjikaran Abhiyan – The Hon’ble Labour and Employment Minister of Haryana Mr. Nayab Singh has launched the campaign for the registration of labourers in the state. The name of the campaign is ‘Haryana Shramik Panjikaran Abhiyan’. The state government has started this campaign from Ambala.

All the eligible labors of the state can register themselves before the last date as the campaign will continue till July 31. The Haryana Government has launched this campaign at about 55 labour chowks in the state. Under this campaign, the state government will register the labourers of the state and distribute them identity cards.
Haryana Shramik Panjikaran Abhiyan – Phases
Minister informed that there will be three phases under the campaign. Here are the details of the phases of the campaign –
- In the first phase of the campaign, the Abhiyan has been launched at all labour chowks.
- Under the second phase, the state government will register the labourers working at construction sites
- Under third phase, the government will register the labourers by visiting villages.
Need For Labour Registration
The government launches various welfare scheme for the labors. But only registered labors can avail the benefits of these schemes. Apart from this, there are various benefits of Labour Registration. Some benefits are here –

The Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board is running 24 schemes for registered labourers.
The Haryana Government has opened canteens under ‘Antyodaya Aahaar Yojana’ at districts including Sonipat, Gurugram, Yamunanagar, Faridabad and Hisar to provide quality food to labourers at Rs 10 only.
Besides this, the Haryana Government has also distributed about Rs 400 crore to registered labourers through different schemes during its three-and-a-half years tenure.
