Haryana High-Risk Pregnancy Portal – Haryana has become the first state in the country where the High-Risk Pregnancy Portal has been launched. From this portal, where women with high-risk pregnancy can be identified, they will be able to get all the help, from time to time by sending them to the hospital, providing them with the availability of specialists and good treatment.

State Health Minister Anil Vij said that this initiative has been made by the Policy Commission and Central Health and Family Welfare Ministry. High-Risk Pregnancy Policy is running in the state since November 2017. So far 100 cases of high risk pregnancy have been provided by pregnant women by bringing them to the civil hospital.

He said that he is fully anticipated that such initiatives will reduce the child mortality, infant mortality rate in the state. Main Secretary Health Amit Jha said that this new web application has been designed such that every single high-risk pregnant woman can be tracked for 42 days after her delivery. The woman can be given proper treatment from childbirth to postnatal and her newborn.
Mission Director, NHRM Amnit P Kumar said that all the civil surgeons have been instructed to make 100% of all high-risk pregnancy cases on entry high-risk pregnancy portals.
Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry and Policy Commission appreciated the portal by taking this portal from Haryana.
He said that the birth control policy is also being adopted in Haryana. In which a woman can stay in the labor room at the time of delivery. This has been done so that the quality of labor room is maintained at the time of delivery and proper care of mother and child can be done after delivery.
