Haryana Gobar Dhan Yojana – Bio-Gas Production Scheme
Haryana Gobar Dhan Yojana – Good news for the resident of Karnal, Haryana. The central government is going to start its ‘Gobar Dhan Yojana’ from 30 April 2018 in Karnal, Haryana. In this scheme, the government will create compost and biogas fuel from solid waste and animal excreta. However, the main objective of this scheme is to make the clean village and produce biogas fuel by using animal excreta.

According to the government, most of the countries are using animal excreta to produce biogas fuel on a large scale. India has the largest number of 300 million animals in the world, from which it receives 3 million animals excreta per day. The government has already given the provision in the budget 2018.
With the help of this scheme, the farmers can increase their income because they entirely depend on their crop. Therefore, this scheme will be very helpful in increasing the income of the farmers under Gobar Dhan Yojana. Besides, they can also create Compost from the cow dung. The farmers can save electricity by using biogas energy. On the other hand, people who are living in rural areas, they will get relief from of the smoke fuels.
As per the information, Gobar Dhan Yojana will start from Haryana Karnal. The biogas plant can be established on the Individual, Community, Self Help Group, or Gaushala, such as NGOs level. The government will also take technical help to establish Gobar Gas Plant.
The Central Government and the State Government will provide the amount in the ratio of 60: 40, which will be based on the number of household in the village. In the current financial year, 700 districts will covered under the scheme.
