Delhi Ration Packet Door Step Delivery (दिल्ली सरकार राशन डोर स्टेप डिलीवरी योजना) – The State Government of Delhi has given its approval for the delivery of ration under the Public Delivery System (PDS). This Ration will be given to the Ration Card Holders of the Delhi in packets at their doorsteps. This information was given by the Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Tuesday.

He also informed that it was decided in a Cabinet meeting and the Ration Card Door Step delivery of the ration will be executed by a private player.

Sisodiya also informed that a tender will be floated in this regard for the purpose of the hiring of the private company. This will be done after approval from the Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal, for which the proposal will be sent to him.

The main motive of the state government behind launching this scheme is to bring total transparency in the delivery system so that no one sabotage’s the scheme that is for the benefit of people.

Previously, the Hon’ble Chief Minister Mr. Arvind Kejriwal and the Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Manish Sisodiya alleged that some top officials of Delhi were working under pressure from the ration mafia.

They also alleged that they intended benefiting the ration mafia, the CM and Deputy CM said the officials were not in favor of the doorstep delivery scheme.
