Delhi Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana Online Registration

The state government of Delhi led by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Mr. Arvind Kejariwal has come up with a new scheme named Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana in order to enable 1,100 senior citizens from each community in Delhi to undertake the free pilgrimage.

Under Delhi Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana, the state government will benefit a total number of 77,000 pilgrims from this facility every year and the expense will be borne by the government. All the eligible and interested residents of the state having age over 60 years can apply for Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana. Apart from these citizens, the selected ones will be allowed to be accompanied by an attendant above 18 years, whose expenditure will also be borne by the government.

  • Delhi Vaishno Devi-Jammu.

Below are the instructions to fill the online application for Delhi Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana –

  • Application forms will be available online and can be filed online either through the office of divisional commissioner or office of respective MLA or office of Tirth Yatra Committee.
  • The selection of pilgrims will be done through draw of lots and the respective area MLA will have to certify the residents as belonging to Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

Below is the eligibility criteria for Delhi Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana –

  • Applicant must be a permanent resident of Delhi.
  • Age must not be less than 60 years.
  • Besides this, the state government will also allow an attendant above 18 years along with the applicant whose expenditure will also be borne by the government.
  • The income of the applicant must not exceed Rs three lakh per annum and he or she should not be an employee of central/state/local government or autonomous bodies.

Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana [UPDATE 23-03-2018] 

For Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana, the Delhi government has sanctioned a total amount of Rs 4,155 crore for the social security and welfare. This sanctioned amount is about 8 percent of the total budget of Rs 53,000 crore for the 2018-19 financial year.
