Deen Dayal Sparsh Chhatravratti Yojana – Good news for the Medhavi Students who are interested in collecting post stamp. The Indian Postal Department invites the applications for Himachal Pradesh Deen Dayal Sparsh Scholarship Scheme 2018-19. This scheme was launched in 2017 to provide the scholarship to the meritorious students who are interested in postage stamps as a hobby, whose academic record is good.

The main objective of the scheme is to encourage the felicity of the children from a young age. For this, the department will provide the scholarship. The application submission has been stated for the students from the 6th to the ninth class can apply for this scholarship amount till 31st July 2018. Under this scheme, the postal department will provide a scholarship of Rs. 6000 per annum – Rs. 500 per month.
How to Apply for Deen Dayal Sparsh Scholarship Scheme 2018-19 Himachal Pradesh
All the eligible students can apply for this scheme before 31 July 2018. The application forms can be submitted to the school headmaster or principals and the Postal Circle office, Hamirpur. Under this scheme, the recruitment of eligible students is invited before July 31. The examination will be held on 12th August 2018 for this scholarship.
Deen Dayal Sparsh Scholarship Yojana Eligibility Criteria
All the applicants who are willing to avail the benefits of this scheme must have to fulfill the below-mentioned criteria –
- Those students who are studying in recognized schools of India will be eligible for the scheme.
- The student will be selected only from that school, which will be a filletly club and the student should be a member of that club.
- However, if the school does not have a filletly club and the student who holds a personal correspondence will also be considered for inclusion in the scheme.
- Students should get minimum 60% marks in the last year’s examination,
All the school principals, teachers and parents are requested to encourage the children to take advantage of this scheme.
