Chipa Connection Dhundho Aur Inam Pao Yojana – The Electricity Department has taken an unsurpassed method to capture the consumers who have been stealing electricity in Hathras. Such consumers have connections, but their bills are not able to be made. Now to find such consumers, the Electricity Department has launched “Chipa Connection Dhundho Aur Inam Pao Yojana – छिपा कनेक्शन ढूढ़ो और इनाम पाओ. Under this scheme, the electricity department will reward the informants who will provide the information of such connections.

There are many consumers in the district who have got the connection and receipt is also available to them, but their electricity bills have not been made for years. Due to this the interests of honest consumers are being affected. The department is also losing millions of rupees every month.

Now to find such consumers, the Southanchal Power Distribution Corporation has started the Chipa Connection Dhundho Aur Inam Pao Yojana. This scheme will run from July 1 to August. Managing Director, Southanchal Power Distribution Corporation, SK Verma said in the release that the names of informers informing under the scheme will be kept confidential.

Ten percent of the outstanding revenue collection will be given to the informant. Such combinations, which have been unbilled by the electric block and subdivision, but if the site is currently found to be driven by meter due to certain reasons, the consumer will be billed and charged.

In the role of informant, there may be any private person or working contract employee of the corporation such as meter reader, skilled and unskilled labor. Information will be made by the informant in the office of the respective power distribution board. The responsibility of maintaining confidentiality will be of superintending engineer
