Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Swasthya Bima Yojana  – The State Government of Chhattisgarh led by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Raghubar Das has announced the launching of Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Swasthya Beema Yojana from 15th November this year. He announced that the scheme will be implemented throughout the state from 28th December 2017.

CM Raghubar Das said that all the formalities and preparations should be finalized for the implementation of the health insurance scheme. Under the Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Swasthya Bima Yojana, about 57 lakh families covered under National Food Security Act will be benefited. CM Das stated that the poor people of the state would not have to spend even a single penny on their treatment.

Chief Minister Raghubar Das stated that the health insurance scheme should be publicized properly across the state and all government hospitals should be enlisted on its panel. CM said “Even renowned nursing homes of the state and well-known hospitals and nursing homes in the borderline areas of neighboring states will be enlisted. Everything will be monitored through capable software to maintain transparency”.

Benefits of Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Swasthya Bima Yojana 

Under the Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Swasthya Bima Yojana, following benefits will be provided-

  • Benefits of a total amount of Rs. 50,000 has been sanctioned for the secondary care Rs. 2 lakh for special care, Rs. 30,000 for senior citizens of additionally covered class. This whole system will be cashless. The beneficiaries will be provided a card also,” he said.
