The state government of Chhattisgarh has announced a plan which is known as the Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana.
Under this plan, the Chattisgarh government will provide Rs 30000/ for the poor family for their daughter‘s wedding.
Chattisgarh is survived with many poor families and those people are financially week and not able to do their daughter’s marriage with the proper arrangement, The state government of Chattisgarh has decided to help the people, by giving them some amount of money.
The main objective of the yojana is providing money help to poor individuals.
Objective of the scheme
The state government has mainly focused on reducing the dowry system in weddings and trying to promoting mass marriages this will help poor families into marriage, avoidance of reducing unwanted expenditure on marriages, increase self-standing and their social improving the situation.
Benefits of the scheme
This plan is beneficial for those families who are living in Chattisgarh with two children and the of girl child 18 years they are surviving below the poverty line, they will get financial aid material up to 13000.00 which will be resolved by the requirement of the girl child. The main purpose of arranging a mass marriage, per girl child can be spent up to 2000.00 rupees.
Accordingly, the help measure of Rs. 15,000/ – will be payable for every young lady’s marriage under this plan.
The applicant must be the residence of Chhattisgarh.
The girl’s age must be 18 years and above.
The plan will be applicable for only two daughters of a single parent.
The scheme is applicable for only BPL family
The family income should be less than one lakh per annum.
Candidate has to present Residential Certificate
Applicants have to present Income certificate
Age Proof such as Copy of birth certificate or school marks list
BPL card to prove that the family have in BPL list
