On Thursday, the Union human resource development minister Prakash Javadekar said that Shortlisted from 42,000 students of 2,183 engineering and management colleges and universities from across India, these students in 1,266 teams will work nonstop for 36 hours to build products based on their ideas across 26 locations in India during the ‘Grand Finale’ of ‘Smart India Hackathon 2017’ April 1-2.

Government Schemes Launched by NDA Government

CM Medhavi Student Yojana
The government will pay the fee of the students entering in the excellent educational institutions such as IIT, IIM, NLIU by scoring marks above 85% in class 12th. They do not need to return the amount. This facility will be given to only those students whose parents’ annual income will be up to Rs 1 lakh.
Recently, the government had announced that people can apply for passports from their main post offices. Now people in selected cities will be able to apply for passports in post offices by the next month i.e March 2017 under an ambitious initiative of the External Affairs Ministry.
