Government of India has approved the online application for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). For Narendra Modi’s ambitious housing scheme, now poor people living in cities who do not have a home can apply online.
PM Awas Yojana Uttar Pradesh – In Uttar Pradesh, about 1 lakh affordable housing units will be constructed for the urban poor in this year. The Uttar Pradesh State Government will take a loan of about 1000 crore rupees. This proposal was approved by the Council of Ministers on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
PM Awas Yojana Odisha – The State Government of Odisha has set a target of the construction of about 6 lakh affordable housing units under different rural housing schemes during the current financial year. Besides this, the state government has announced an incentive of Rs 20,000 each to beneficiaries who complete construction work within four months.

PM Awas Yojana Rajasthan – The Rajasthan Government led by the Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is considering for the construction of about 17 lakh affordable housing units in Rajasthan under the Central Government’s ambitious scheme Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). The Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister Rajendra Rathore informed that about 8.7 lakh affordable housing units have been constructed.
PM Awas Yojana – MHUPA (Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs) has provided approval to construct 30,000 affordable housing units for urban poor on private land at Sholapur, Maharashtra, under the Central Government’s ambitious scheme Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). Besides this, the Central Government has also sanctioned an assistance of Rs 450 crore for this project.
