Ayushman Bharat Yojana Dehradun Online Registration

The Dehradun District Health Department has started the process of the registration of the eligible families for the comprehensive health insurance scheme launched by the Central Government of India named “Ayushman Bharat Yojana.” The Union Health Department of Deharadun has listed 71306 beneficiaries of the scheme in the district.

According to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Of Dehradun, Dr S K Gupta, a total number of 34633 families in the rural and 36673 families in the urban areas have been included under the scheme. For this health insurance scheme, 12 Government and 18 private hospitals have so far been empanelled. The government will also empanel more private hospitals in the scheme.

As per the information given by the CMO informed, all the listed beneficiary can visit the nearest empanelled hospital for registration after which they would be issued the Ayushman Bharat Golden Card. However, the card is not mandatory for availing cashless treatment in the hospitals under this scheme as the eligible families can also avail treatment in the hospitals without even without card.

Ayushman Bharat Yojana Dehradun – Ayushman Mitra

The State Government has also appointed the “Ayushman Mitras” in all these hospitals. They will help the patients to avail the benefits of Ayushman Bharat Yojana – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.

According to CMO, the state government will include more families under this scheme in the second phase of the survey. For this, the state government will soon start the registrations for Ayushman Bharat Yojana Dehradun.

In Uttarakhand, the State Government has decided to include all the 23 lakh families of the State under the scheme. The State Government aims at including all the beneficiaries covered under the Mukhyamantri Swasthaya Bima Yojana ( MSBY), all serving and retired State Government employees and all the families not covered under any other scheme in the Atal Ayushman Yojana.
