Ayushman Bharat Scheme – The Central Government of India led by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to make the world’s largest healthcare scheme “Ayushman Bharat Scheme” even more widespread. Currently, nearly 11 crore families are being scarcely scaled up in this scheme. Prime Minister will launch this scheme from September 25. From this, about 55 Crore people will get health insurance of five lakh rupees every year.
Railway, ESI and CGHS will Also Join Ayushman Bharat Scheme
According to sources, the railway, ESI and CGHS will also be connected soon with the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. After this, more than 20 lakh government employees will be covered under this scheme. However sources say that only after reviewing the first phase of the scheme, the government will add them. The review of the Pilot Project in 16 states has been found satisfactory and the Government expects that the beneficiaries of the world’s biggest health protection scheme will not have to worry.
Delhi People Will Not Get Benefits
So far MoU has not been signed for Ayushman Bharat in the country’s capital Delhi, hence the people of Delhi will not get the benefit for the moment. Dr. Dinesh Arora, deputy CEO of Ayushman India says that the conversation is going on, but the beneficiaries of the scheme at AIIMS, Safdarjung and RML at the Center’s hospitals, located in Delhi, will get treatment under this scheme.
What is Ayushman Bharat Scheme?
Ayushman Bharat Yojana has been launched by PM Narendra Modi on 15th August (On the auspicious occasion of Independence Day). This is a health treatment and insurance scheme. Under this scheme, the central government will provide 5 Lakh health insurance to the eligible people. About 11 Crore families will be covered under this scheme which means about 55 Crore people across the country.
